Division 2 Championships on Thursday 6/25/26
Divisionals information:
Arrival time is 7:15-7:30 am. We are in section 7 on the map attached. This is where all swimmers will report to and they must check in with a board member. Volunteers must check in as well and sign off in order to receive credit for any shift you may work. Warm-ups will be at 8:00 am. Meet starts at 9:00 am.
This is the last opportunity to volunteer, so if you have not met the requirements, please take advantage of this last opportunity, before being charged the fee. Divisionals needs ready deck help and we have split it into 3 shifts. The kids are down with the team the entire meet and parents are not allowed down on deck unless you are volunteering. There are 7 teams competing on Thursday so we will need a lot of help and kids will miss events without your help. *Swimmers are NOT allowed in the bleachers at any time during the meet". If your swimmer is not with the team, they will be scratched from their event. (Pease don't let a relay be scratched and ensure your athlete(s) stay with the team.) This is a fun swim meet, but there are a lot of kids to manage, so please help us keep the kids all together. If your need to be with your child, please volunteer for ready deck to be down with the team.
We need pop up tents to have shade for swimmers. Remember to send your kids with their events already written on them. Please label your athletes on their back shoulder by last name, first name and age so they can be easily identified by those supervising lanes. Have sunscreen already on your child and send more with them. There is no shade other than the shade that pop up tents provide. Please pack ample fluids and food/snacks for your swimmers. Concessions will be open and running for items to purchase throughout the meet. There will also be an opportunity to buy Divisionals merchandise, if you'd like. Do not send chairs with your kids, they will not be allowed and there is not room where we will be seated. Send 2 towels, one to sit on and 1 to use. Label all items your child brings and be sure to collect your belongings when you leave the meet.
From NISD: "No glass bottles of any kind are allowed. Athletes should not use any type of marker on the pavement in your team area! This has happened several times….please make sure you take the Sharpies away from the kids after they are marked. Your team is responsible for any damage caused to your team area."
